Q. How is coaching different to counselling?
A. In general terms, counselling tends to look at your past, exploring experiences that are having a negative effect on you now. Coaching is more about looking at where you are now vs where you want to be and finding the best route for you to get there. However, I can cover most counselling type issues with Thought Field Therapy, the Releasing Method and the Core Transformation Process.
Q. What can I expect during a session
A. During a session I will ask you some simple questions about the issue you have been experiencing. We will just really have a conversation as if you were just with a friend. Following this we will choose a method suitable for you and commence the resolution of your issue. Most things only take one session but on occasions a follow up session is scheduled to if the problems are more complex.
Q. I've always been really afraid of spiders. Do your treatments really work?
A. Yes, they do! I have treated many, many people for fears/phobias of spiders. This is the fastest and gentlest treatment for phobias I have ever come across and you only pay by results anyway..
Q. Can your methods really help with insomnia?
A. Yes unless it's a physical condition which in the majority of cases it isn't. Insomnia or disturbed sleep patterns are great examples of your mind working against you. It gets caught in a loop and then sleeplessness becomes the new behaviour. TFT and The Sedona Method dissolve the blocks and thoughts that keep your mind so active at night leaving you at peace to get the rest you need.
Q. My boss is making my life a misery, but I don't know what to do about it.
A. You may be feeling a number of emotions such as fear, anxiety, stress and anger. All of these will get in the way of you finding the solution that's right for you. It's amazing how clear things become when your head isn't in emotional turmoil. Thought Field Therapy and Releasing are great for releasing negative emotion.
Q. I think I suffer from something called 'social anxiety' where I feel scared about meeting new people or going into social situations where I don't know anybody. Can your methods help?
A. Yes they can, absolutely. The way peoples lives transform when they rid themselves of this unfortunate problem (which is very common by the way) is wonderful. We even go and test out the changes together in a safe way so you can be sure it has really worked.
Q. I sometimes have 'panic attacks' and would like something to deal with these when they arise. What can be done?
A. Thought field technique (which is a gentle tapping treament on acupuncture points with the fingers) can actaully be done as you start to feel the panic and reduces the anxiety to virtually nil when done correctly. I teach the client to do this on thier own so panic becomes manageable and in 95% of cases does not even come back..
